CONGRATULATIONS A huge well done to Peter Taylor for his fantastic achievement. On Sunday 7th November Peter took part in the New York Marathon but only a couple of weeks prior to this event Peter was diagnosed by his doctor with Plantar fasciitis. He was concerned that this would stop him entering the marathon but we managed to get him back on target with only a couple of treatments. The following Wednesday Peter returned to my clinic for a follow up treatment with a big grin on his face clutching a well deserved medal. Not only did he complete the marathon but he came first out of the 29 British entrants in his age group, He had a superb time of 3 hours 52 minutes and although he said that his legs started to feel heavy after just 16 miles, he battled on. This is in itself is a great acheivement but Peter is an inspiration to us all especially considering the fact that he is in his early 60's. Well Done Peter ! |
